Stunning B&B and Gîtes
In the heart of Drôme Provençale
In the heart of Drôme Provençale
Les Terrasses du Soleil is a striking Bed and Breakfast in Drôme Provençale, one of France’s most beautiful, warm and popular regions.
Vincent and Stéphanie welcome you to stay in one of Les Terrasses du Soleil’s beautiful bedrooms or gîtes overlooking the French countryside. Enjoy their 20m swimming pool and join the family too for table d’hotes, the French custom of offering an evening meal for guests and visitors.
Les Terrasses du Soleil is found in the quintessentially French village of Le Pègue, surrounded by vineyards, fields of lavender and rolling hills. It’s an outdoors lover’s dream, with plenty of activities to do and places to explore in the local area.
The nearest towns to the B&B are Montélimar, Valence and Avignon. Further afield are Lyon, Montpellier and Marseille.

It’s a very nice property with a lot of charm. A magnificent view and a garden with terraces and a large swimming pool, a vegetable patch, greenhouse, olive trees, fruit trees, a bench for reading in the shade protected from the Mistral wind, and an old oak tree to meditate under or practice yoga. I love it!

“Wonderful relaxing place to stay for a stopover or a week”
This magnificent house overlooking fields of lavender and wineries offers a unique combination of comfort and quality. A great place to go with kids/family as the grounds are extensive and there’s plenty to do – hiking, bicycling, swimming – or if you want to use it as a base to view nearby Avignon, Montelimar and Orange. Lots of small medieval villages in the neighborhood too. I recommend taking meals with the family as Steph cooks wonderfully and you can enjoy the lazy evenings around the fire place with a glass of wine and great conversation. Will definitely be back!

I loved the experience. Stephanie and Vincent were so welcoming and really gave me the French experience. The residence is breathtakingly beautiful and the weather is phenomenal. The village is quaint, surrounded by nature and wild life. They are dedicated to making everyone feel welcome. Stephanie is a fabulous cook, as she cooks authentic French, Moroccan, Indian, Italian, and anything else that strikes her fancy. They are willing to be Gluten and/or Dairy Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, or cook meat, all while buying Organic and local. I’m counting down the days till I can come back.
